Dr. Fafa Gadzanku heads Women’s Health Unit of DRH

Dr Fafa Gadzanku (MPH, MBBS) has been appointed as the new head of the Women’s Health Unit of Doctors for Right to Health Ghana. She brings on Board her experience in the field of HIV/AIDS and Malaria projects. She holds a Masters degree in public health in developing countries from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine (LSHTMD).

The Women’s Health Unit directly undertakes women’s health promotion and advocacy, screening services, capacity building for women empowerment, and also projects to enhance the adolescent and reproductive health rights of women especially in deprived areas.

Other members in the Unit include: Dr (Mrs) Afua Sarpong Gordon, Dr. (Mrs.) Agnes Asare and Dr. James K. A. Boachie.
