DOCTORS FOR RIGHT TO HEALTH (formerly HEALTHpage, GHANA) is a non-profit, health and human rights organization headquartered in Accra, Ghana, West Africa. Established in January, 2006, by a group of Ghanaian doctors and nurses, the organization mobilizes Ghanaian doctors, nurses, pharmacists and other health professionals as volunteers to promote and protect the right to health for all Ghanaians, especially vulnerable populations. We work to increase access to health for vulnerable communities in Ghana by promoting the basic principle that health is a fundamental human right.

DOCTORS FOR RIGHT TO HEALTH designs and implement innovative and sustainable programmes to improve the health of communities at risk of maternal and child mortality, malnutrition, infectious disease (particularly HIV/AIDS, TB and malaria), and emerging epidemics, such as hypertension, diabetes and tobacco-related disease. The organization believes that the absence of affordable, accessible and available quality health care is not an absence of a service, but a violation of a basic human right. »
